Hotel "Ringhaus - Home of Silver Arrows", recently known as Ringhaus, is situated only 3 minutes from the entry to the legendary Nuerburgring race track.

On the other side is a terrace overlooking the beautiful castle Nuerburg. It is located in a quiet location, close to the Nuerburgring village centre.

It is ideal place for relaxing, gaining strength after a hard day, get deep sleep and energy for the next race.

Accommodations rules

The main rule is respect for others. If you love music, don't play it loudly and turn it off completely after 11pm. We are very attentive to the cleanliness of the house. Therefore, if you are with animals, we, unfortunately, will not be able to accommodate you. You can bring any food with you, as well as free tea and biscuits.

Check-in starts at 12:00 and check-out until 11:00.

The first part of the current building in 1924.
At the opening of the new racetrack, Mercedes SSK, known as the "White Elephant", was prepared for the first ever race at the Nurburgring.
In 1934 - The following season Mercedes returned to test its brand new W25 race car.
As a result, an accident occurred of which one child from the village of Nuerburg was injured. After that, Mercedes hired a kindergarten teacher and paid for sweets and toys to hide all the kids during the races.
This was two years before the International Motorsport Administration decided to introduce the 750kg Formula. The basic rule was that cars were not allowed to be heavier than 750 kg without fuel, oil, fluids and tires.
From our modern point of view, this is very interesting, because currently the minimum weight is required, not the maximum. AIAC set out to make cars lighter and less powerful because cars with huge engines and superchargers were almost unrivaled and a major safety issue.
In 1934 a new weight limit was introduced and Daimler-Benz brought their new W25 rider to the Eiffel forest. The straight-line V-8 with 4-valve cylinder head and supercharger produced an astonishing 314 hp. of 3360ccm and was well ahead of its time.
The car was already equipped with independent suspension and hydraulic brakes. This first race in the W25 was the beginning of the Silver Arrow myth, but why? Even the most advanced lightweight engineering could not prevent the cars from being a little too heavy and exceeding the 750kg limit.
Alfred Neubauer's team only had one night after training to reduce the weight of the machines - a seemingly impossible task. The engineering changes could not be carried out until the next morning on June 3, 1934, and therefore Manfred von Brauchitsch said the legendary verdict to command patron Neubauer:
